Daniel’s potential was recognised very early in his career gaining the privilege of working alongside the internationally acclaimed Neil Scobie for the completion of his apprenticeship. During this time Daniel created art pieces and fine furniture for galleries, exhibitions and private commissions all around the globe.
From here Daniel continued to establish his reverence in the industry by winning first place in both SkillEx New Zealand and World Skills Australia 2002. Winning these highly-regarded industry competitions presented Daniel with the opportunity of working in Europe alongside many talented and well respected designers, architects and craftsmen at Kew Joinery and Rick Baker Furniture. Here he further refined his skills and established his name as he went on to create elaborate custom pieces for major architectural projects and furniture pieces for both commercial and residential interiors.
In recent years Daniel has returned home to establish Coffs Harbour Kitchens. From humble beginnings the business’ growth into what it is today is a tribute to Daniel’s Reputation as one of the area’s best cabinet makers.
